Listed by IAPMO, it meets Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) requirements. Also meets or exceeds ASTM Schedule 40 dimensional and material standards. The King Brothers Inc. GVP-1000-S Gate Valve uses durable non-rising stem construction, and also employs a polypropylene wedge with an EPDM o-ring for a secure seal and long life.
